Returns & Refunds Policy (Australian Consumer Law)

At Earth Tallow, we take pride in the quality of our handcrafted products. Please read our returns policy carefully before making a purchase.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.

All items are handmade in small batches, and for hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns once an order has been shipped.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [your email address], including:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

If the issue is confirmed, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

These rights are in addition to any other rights or remedies available under law.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Please allow standard processing times for your financial institution. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. 

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Shipping Issues

While we are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, we will always work with you to resolve any delivery issues as fairly and promptly as possible.
